1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Whodunit, you confirm that you have read, fully understood, and accepted all contents of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any clause herein, you are prohibited from using our services.
Whodunit is launched globally with regional ratings including Teen (ESRB), PEGI 12, USK 12+ and equivalent standards. Partial content contains mild swearing, mature themes and real-time user interaction. Parental supervision is recommended for minor users.
2. Account Registration and Usage
2.1 Account Creation
To unlock partial platform functions, you need to register an account with an email address, username and password. You shall take full responsibility for keeping your login credentials confidential.
2.2 Age Requirement
The minimum age to use Whodunit is 13 years old.
If your age is below the digital consent age stipulated by local laws (generally 16 years old in the EU), verified consent from your parent or legal guardian is mandatory to access the application.
2.3 Account Security

3. Use of Services
3.1 Permitted Use
Whodunit is developed for interactive storytelling and entertainment purposes only. You promise to use the platform in full compliance with laws and in a respectful manner towards other users.
3.2 Prohibited Activities
You are forbidden to perform the following behaviors:
- Harass other users, publish hate speech or conduct inappropriate acts
- Upload offensive, violent or pornographic explicit content
- Attempt hacking, reverse engineering or tampering with game systems
- Deploy bots, game exploits or cheating tools
- Reproduce and spread copyrighted materials without authorization
Any violation will lead to account suspension or permanent ban.
3.3 User-Generated Content and Moderation
You may upload and submit content including chat messages, photos and avatar images during gameplay. You shall not submit content as below:
- Improper, insulting or harmful materials
- Other people’s identifiable personal information
- Content violating domestic and international laws
We reserve the right to review, delete or report any content that breaches our rules or brings potential safety risks.
4. In-App Purchases and Transactions
4.1 Purchases
Whodunit provides optional in-app purchase items. All payments are processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play. We will not directly collect or store your payment information.
4.2 Refund Policy
All completed purchases are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable laws or the refund rules of corresponding app stores.
5. Privacy and Data Protection

- Game records, story choices and play data

All contents of Whodunit, including game scripts, graphics, audio files and software codes, are exclusive property of Imagine Entertainment and protected by copyright laws. You shall not copy, edit or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
6.2 User-Generated Content License
Once you submit any content to Whodunit, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, global license to display, use and distribute such content within the platform and relevant promotional materials.
7. Limitation of Liability
Whodunit is provided on an “as is” basis without any express or implied warranties. Within the maximum scope permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:
- Temporary service downtime, system bugs or technical errors
- Loss of game data or progress
- Third-party content and improper acts from other users
- Harm caused by exposed user-generated content including chat and uploaded images
You participate in online multiplayer functions at your own risk.
8. Termination of Services
We have the right to suspend or permanently close your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful conduct. You may also submit an account deletion request to us at any time via contact email.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms regularly. For material revisions, we will send notifications via in-app pop-up or your registered email. Your continuous use of Whodunit after the update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
